The 36th Annual Ojai Wine Festival is the longest running wine festival in Ventura County. Overlooking scenic Lake Casitas in the Ojai Valley, The Ojai Wine Festival is an idyllic venue to taste award winning wines & amazing craft beers

A bountiful selection of wineries, craft breweries, ciders, seltzers and fine spirits will be represented along with a tempting selection of gourmet food trucks selling delicious culinary cuisine. Drinking admission includes a keepsake crystal wine glass. Patrons can shop to their heart’s delight among the arts and crafts booths. Bid on the Silent Wine Auction featuring fine wines, private tasting parties, VIP tours of wineries, artisan crafts and much more. Join the dance party on the lakeside dance floor and groove to music by Santa Barbara’s hottest dance band, Area 51. Tickets are limited so purchase early before we sell out.

Event admission on event day is $105.

The Ojai Wine Festival is a fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Ojai-West Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose charitable projects focus on improving education, aiding low-income families, and supporting activities that enrich the lives of area youth. Fitting examples of important projects include our science based Rotary Floating Classroom, Third Grade Dictionary Project, Nordhoff High School’s “Service Above Self” scholarships for graduating seniors, and free Ojai Community Summer Band Concerts.

Our international projects are fostered by the Rotary Foundation through donations from Rotary Club of Ojai West. The Rotary Foundation’s goals are to advance world understanding, goodwill, and peace by improving health, providing quality education, improving the environment, and alleviating poverty. Additionally, every year our Rotary club donates to Polio Plus: the worldwide fight to eradicate poliomyelitis which, is a paralyzing and potentially deadly infectious disease that most commonly affects children under the age of 5.

General Terms

The event will happen rain or shine. All sales are final, no refunds. The ticket fees associated with your original ticket purchase are are non-refundable. Event Hours: 12-4pm,with pouring ending at 3:30pm.

Rules:

-No pets or emotional support animals are allowed. By law, if an animal’s purpose or task is to provide protection, emotional support, well-being, comfort, or companionship it is not considered a service animal and may not attend the festival with you. Qualified and bona fide service animals are welcome. It’s a crime to misrepresent a pet as a service animal. Those who bring any animal other than a service animal will not be allowed to admittance. Service dogs must be always on a leash. If the owner cannot control their service dog, we have the right to ask them to exit the event. They can return without their service dog. The safety of our patrons is most important to us. There is a specific form that needs filled out before the service dog is allowed to enter and the dog will have a band to attach to their collar to ID them as a service dog before the owner and dog can enter the event.

-All patrons must pass through security before entering the event. All bags and coolers will be searched for outside alcoholic beverages. No weapons or illegal drugs are allowed.

-No large shade umbrellas, you will be asked to take down your shade umbrella if you are blocking the view of other patrons.

-No pop-up tents, no E-Z up canopies.-You must never remove your wristband during the event.

-You cannot share wristbands with other patrons.

-You must be 21 to bid on the silent auction items.

-You must be 21 years old or older to consume alcohol and have valid proof of age to enter event. Be prepared to show your ID for proof of age before receiving your entry wristband. 

-If you arrive late to the event, we cannot guarantee that all the wineries or breweries will still beverages for you to sample.

-By attending the event, you accept that pictures or video may be taken of you and used for advertising purposes.

-No smoking except for in designated smoking areas away from the main event

-Designated Driver/Non-Drinking tickets do not include alcohol consumption; you will be asked to leave the event or purchase a drinking admission ticket if you consume alcohol with a Non-Drinking Admission. Sharing alcoholic beverages with a Non-Drinking patron is not allowed.

-Drink responsibly and have a designated driver to take you home or plan for a hired driver.

-All vehicles must be empty in the event parking area by 7pm on event day when the gates are locked.

-All vehicles must be removed from the parking area by noon, the day after the event if left overnight. Any vehicles left after that time will be towed at the owner's expense.

-You are not allowed to purchase alcoholic beverages inside the event and carry them out.  You may order bottles or cases of wine from wineries for delivery to your home or business.

-You must finish consuming your alcoholic beverage before exiting the event area. No open alcoholic beverage containers are allowed to be removed from the event site.
-Fire arms are not allowed at Lake Casitas and cannot be brought into the event site. Keep them home. You will be asked to leave the premises with any firearms or weapons on your person.
-By entering the Ojai Wine Festival, you are entering an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur. Your entry and presence on the event premises constitutes your consent to be photographed, filmed, and/or otherwise recorded and to the release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction of any and all recorded media of your appearance, voice, and name for any purpose whatsoever in perpetuity in connection with the Ojai Wine Festival, the Rotary Club of Ojai West Foundation, Inc. and its initiatives, including, by way of example only, use on websites, in social media, news and advertising. By entering the event premises, you waive and release any claims you may have related to the use of recorded media of you at the event, including, without limitation, any right to inspect or approve the photo, video or audio recording of you, any claims for invasion of privacy, violation of the right of publicity, defamation, and copyright infringement or for any fees for use of such record media. You understand that all photography, filming and/or recording will be done in reliance on this consent. If you do not agree to the foregoing, please do not enter the event premises.

Item Transfer policy:

Tickets and parking passes are transferrable if the person(s) receiving the ticket(s) is 21 years or older for a drinking ticket.

 

Children 0-12 years old are free with a paying adult

 

Non-Drinking tickets are available on June 15th, 2024, online for $25 for designated drivers and anyone age 13-20.

General Terms

-Dress code is casual 

-No overly revealing clothing

-No clothing with profanity or offensive messages

-Wear comfortable shoes as the event site is large and you will be doing a lot of walking.  The area is grassy and fairly level in most areas but the ground can be uneven so please watch your step.  There are a few hills and trees on the event site.

-Bring a hat and sunscreen

- Parking is $10 in cash only unless purchased online (Print your parking pass to hand in to the parking attendant) and the parking lot is located directly across the street from the main ticketing area of the event. Handicapped parking is available and there is a map and directions for handicapped parking on our website. You do not have to have a handicapped placard or license plate to park here but it is not any closer to the entrance than regular parking. It is flatter and easier to use a walker, wheel chair and walk here. 

-You are allowed to bring in food and sealed non-alcoholic beverages BUT NOT THERMAL WATER BOTTLES. 

Refund Policy

All sales are final, no refunds. The additional ticket fees associated with your original purchase are non-refundable.

Item Transfer Policy

Tickets are transferrable as long as the person receiving them is of the legal 21 years or older drinking age. Proof of legal drinking age is required for entry.

Age Restriction

You must be 21 years or older to:

1) Purchase a drinking admission to the Ojai Wine Festival

2) Bid on the silent auction

 

Although we do not encourage children to attend, children under 13 are free when accompanied by a paying adult. Anyone 13-20 years of age must purchase a non- drink admission for $25. A limited amount of water and samples of sponsored non-alcoholic beverages will be available until supplies run out.

 

Miscellaneous Policies

Remember to bring:
-Your legal ID to show proof of age -your ticket- and your parking pass.  We will be scanning all tickets for entry into the event.
